Our first postcard from the USA has arrived!

Valerie in Albuquerque, New Mexico (USA) has sent us this wonderful postcard depicting the state bird: the Roadrunner.  She herself is an English teacher and really praises our students' efforts to practice English through postcrossing. Click here to learn how to pronounce Albuquerque and here for more information on the roadrunner (it's not just a fictional cartoon character!).

  1. Hello,
very nice this postcard, I really like it. I think the roadrunner is very funny.
I agree with you, the Postcrossing is a great idea for practise our English. This is my second year as student of English, I study 2nd basic. I never studied English before because I studied French at school and in high school, but I like this language, a little difficult for one Spanish- speaking but I like it.
    Thanks for your postcard!

  2. Thanks for taking the plunge and posting, Begoña. Part of being good at anything is liking it and showing interest, and you have really embraced this postcrossing project. We hope it gives you more reason to be enthusiastic about learning and using English.
